Sheri Pearlman
Clarinetist and Saxophonist Extraordinaire.

Sheri Pearlman is a Jewish-American clarinetist. Sheri received her musical education from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University in her native city of Baltimore, Maryland, where she studied under New York Philharmonic's Principal clarinetist, Anthony McGill. She received a talent scholarship from this renowned institution, as well as numerous awards. One distinction of note includes the Peabody Institute's Award for Excellence in Chamber Music as well as an 1 additional scholarship to concertize and perform chamber music throughout Europe.
Additionally, Sheri has won numerous prizes in notable solo competitions such as the International Clarinet Competition, the Midwest Young Artist's Concerto Competition, and the Hackman Young Musician's Competition. Sheri has also performed with a number of professional symphony orchestras and has been a featured Recording Artist at world-renowned studios around Los Angeles, California.
Career highlights include performing the Mozart and Brahms Clarinet Quintets at the inauguration of Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor in Washington, DC, recording at Hollywood's own iconic Capitol Records and touring throughout Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean Islands as an appointed soloist, orchestral player and chamber musician. Sheri is a current member of the Artifacto Ensemble, a virtuostic and versatile chamber music ensemble and maintains a thriving online virtual teaching studio where she trains great clarinetists and saxophonists of all ages.
